Israeli company develops rotary wing unmanned aerial vehicle turret system
Israel's Steadicapper and Smart Shooter have jointly developed a new rotating drone system, based on the Black Hawk 50E drone and equipped with a SMASH Dragon system.
The latter is a small turret with automatic stabilization function, which can be equipped with light weapons such as assault rifles, sniper rifles, or 40mm grenade launchers to shoot ground targets, including moving targets.
The 'Shattered Dragon' adopts computer image recognition and automatic tracking technology, with autonomous multi-target classification and tracking locking capabilities, such as automatically distinguishing between people and vehicles. Even vehicles that have not appeared on the battlefield before can be recognized as vehicles.
The "Smash Dragon" system can also be equipped on other drones to accurately attack ground, air, and sea targets during day and night.
